Privacy Policy

This describes honestly how the service works today, but it has not been checked by a lawyer and is not a substitute for one. It will be replaced before general release.
The short version
We collect as little as we can. We do not sell anything about you, we do not run advertising, and there are no tracking pixels in our emails.
If you broadcast
We hold your email address, your display name, your show details, and your broadcasts — recordings, transcripts, and the show notes produced from them. We keep a log of when shows started, ended, and whether they recorded, so a broadcast that went wrong can be diagnosed.
If you listen
You need no account and we do not ask for your name. When you join a show we give your browser a signed identifier so the host can moderate chat; it identifies you within that one show and nowhere else. If you choose a screen name, it is stored with your chat messages.
If you ask to be notified
We store your email address, which show you asked about, and whether you confirmed it. Nothing is sent to an address that has not confirmed. Every message has a one-click unsubscribe, and using it removes you immediately.
Reports
If you report a show, we store what you told us and a one-way hash of your network address — enough to notice the same person filing many reports, not enough to identify you or to know what you have listened to. Your email address is optional and only used to tell you the outcome.
Who else sees it
These are the services we use to run this one. Each sees only what it needs:
- Supabase — accounts, show data, and recordings storage.
- LiveKit — carries live audio between you and the show.
- Vercel — runs and serves the site.
- Resend — sends the emails you asked for.
- Deepgram — transcribes recordings.
- Anthropic — writes show notes from those transcripts.
We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Cookies
We set a cookie to keep you signed in, and store a few preferences in your browser — your microphone choice, your chat name. No advertising or analytics cookies.
How long we keep it
Your content stays until you delete it or close your account. Unsubscribed email records are kept so we do not mail you again by mistake. Operational logs are kept for a limited period.
Your choices
You can delete a show and its recording from your dashboard, unsubscribe from any email in one click, and ask us for a copy of what we hold or for it to be erased. Depending on where you live you may have further rights; ask and we will honour them.
Children
This service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
